"From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring..." ~ Edgar Allan Poe

How did this all begin?

Do you live, do you die, do you bleed - for the fantasy?

I live to write, dream and love.

I believe in true love.

I am a goth, a metaller and a dreamer. I am essentially a happy person. I confess to being an elitist and a little bit of a snob.

In your mind, through your eyes, do you see it’s the fantasy?

I have lived 17 years of life as a dreamer and don't plan on changing that any time soon.

I love wolves, metal music and gothic culture, and am highly influenced by the moon.

Automatic, I imagine, I believe

Nighttime erratic, daytime dreamer. I believe in things you wouldn't even contemplate.

I am a poet/writer by nature, habit, and passion. Words alone mean nothing, the emotion they hold means the world.

Automatic, I imagine, I believe...

I adore languages, primarily English and Latin. Also Shakespeare's works, and the work of Edgar Allan Poe and Anne Rice greatly interests me.

I am whatever you would like to perceive of me.

Say it, say it, say that you believe

And thus, the dreamer became a dream in herself.

Say that you believe...

Just a few points;

I finished my GCSE courses with 6A*s and 4As, which I was rather chuffed with. I got 100% in Art and Design, and got a rather nice formal letter a few days ago saying that this places me (joint) top in the country. Hurrah. I am now studying for AS levels in Latin, Classical Civilisation, English Literature and Fine Art, and loving every minute. I have some new work to post up as soon as I get around to scanning it.

I discovered a fascination with skulls. Expect to see a lot of these. I just got hold of some very, very nice specimens, I'm thrilled.

I will be turning 17 in a few weeks, which means I will finally be able to afford to get my Nintendo Wii.

Whether it's foolhardy or not, I've signed up to Nanowrimo again this year. Anyone else, I'd love to know so that we can keep each other motivated and whatnot.

Halloween again. The time of year for infinite numbers of bad jokes about my dress style, but also lots of fun things in the shops, especially where fabrics are concerned, I'm going to go and stock up on spider lace whilst I can.

That's just about all for now.

Oh yes, and I'm hating Damien Hirst. Almost forgot that one...

I've been listening to Days Of The Grays for the past two days, and I must agree with you, it's a fantastic album! Not only is the actual album beautiful, the orchestral is almost better than the original! I love it

That's great! Yes, I know the feeling of fantastic new stereo headphones all too well. I love my wharfedales with a passion - and I've had many, many pairs of seinheissers, all at double the price I paid for my current pair, so even though they had a very tough act to follow, they absolutely made it.

I was at school setting up my exhibition today. Tomorrow I am painting an A1 canvas, and Friday I am taking it in to stick it to my board. Then it's busy busy all through the weekend to get things finished in time for Monday, when I have to have finished my exhibition before I sit the maths paper.

I did indeed meet up with him, I had a wonderful time thank you for asking. We saw Star Trek, lots of delightful pew-pew laser guns, and a few little romantic bits too. I gave him the flying squirrel too... I think the little critter will have a safe home with him!

Do you have any pictures of me from yesterday?

Yes, a very good home for the little critter.

Thank you very much - my email is actually on my profile, so you can have it...

I would love to see those shoes.

Thank you, I had a very, very good time. It is going fairly well.

They are absolutely stunning!

Just to continue our DAS conversation, I'd recommend [link]
It's a challenge to write a novel in November, and trust me, having the time limit makes for raw writing stimulus. I did the 100k one there around schoolwork, and it's among my best writing, so good work can definitely be produced at pace :D
The general minimum target is 50k, but with a good plan people can get much higher :)

Without even clicking the link; is that Nanowrimo by any chance?

I've attempted the 50k one before, I didn't managed it because I had too much work, but as I'm stripping down to only four subjects next year (plus additional ancient greek and critical thinking) I'll hopefully have more time.

I did however find it very beneficial in getting groundwork done for my current novel.

After hovering my mouse I can see that yes, it is nanowrimo. In which case, I suppose I might as well aim for the 100k this year, or at least 75k. I always have been an overambitious soul, and besides - that way, even if I fall short, I'll still have technically won the 50k one. xD
